Q: I haven't played tennis competitively for awhile. What does it take to get a rating?

A: See a local Teaching Tennis Pro at a club or a City Park with a tennis program and have them hit with you. Based on what they see as they are hitting with you they can let you know what your NTRP level is, than you can start playing at that level in leagues. You may find that you may have to rise or lower this initial rating based on your match or league play aganist other players at this level. Great to have you back playing tennis. Brian
